Advanced Statistics I - STAT188
This full-year unit forms the introductory component of the Bachelor of Advanced Science in Statistics. Topics in this introductory unit include statistical programming, data handling and consulting. Basic Statistics, data summaries, data visualisation and data handling are implemented using state of the art statistical programming language. These methods are displayed in multiple formats using reproducible document creation. Students observe and engage in a statistical consulting project with an external client and third year statistical students.
