Societies of Europe - INTS104

This unit encourages students to develop intercultural competency by providing them with socio-cultural, historical, and political information about a range of societies in Europe. Students will learn about a range of factors shaping European societies, and reflect on the idea of 'European identity' in the context of some key issues currently facing Europe. Through the lectures, tutorials, and their own research, students will be able to gain an overview and better understanding of Europe and its diverse cultures. Students will be assessed through online quizes and take-home assignments, as well as tutorial participation.
