Applied and Experimental Medical Research 1 - MEDI731
This is a shell unit that will provide three short techniques focused training rotations for MRes students in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. They will be able to study three research techniques modules during the semester, from a list of subject options. These modules will cover the key research techniques employed throughout the faculty, including health systems research, clinical medicine, and biomedical sciences. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the reasoning behind the selection of various methodological approaches, the challenges in applying various techniques, and the practicalities of employing them in their research plan. Each module will offer an assessment specific to the techniques being covered.
