Physiotherapy, Healthcare and Society - PHTY815

This unit includes two integrated modules: an advanced clinical reasoning module addressing complex patient-centred health care in society, and a research-based module exploring the generation of research questions and translation of evidence into clinical practice for individuals with complex presentations. Students will develop skills in the evidence-based assessment and management planning for individuals with complex presentations. In this unit students will build on and integrate material from their clinical placements, the core areas of musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological physiotherapy as well as foundation sciences and advanced anatomy.
