Communicate with Impact - GMBA831
Great communicators are gifted storytellers. They know how to engage their audience by knowing what to say, when to say it, and how to say it. Most people associate great communicators with being awesome presenters - they are charismatic, use their body and voice to great effect, and really know their stuff. The ability to communicate with impact is not just about developing your public speaking skills, but also about developing communication skills across a number of domains including one on one interactions, small groups, and large audiences as well as digital and traditional channels. This unit covers storytelling tools and techniques that can help you become a more effective communicator. It explores how underlying constructs such as trust, mimicry, and motivation shape audience expectations and how you might be able to harness this knowledge to communicate with effect.
