Mathematics 3 - WFMA003
The purpose of Mathematics 3 is to provide the background necessary to study science based subjects or business subjects which require some applications of mathematics such as actuarial studies or science/engineering and to prepare the student for first year mathematics courses such as MATH135/WMAT135. The course places a strong emphasis on developing spoken and written mathematical communication skills. Topics covered include series with finance application, differential and integral calculus.
