Modern Polish Theatre - PLH325

The unit examines several contemporary plays as examples of the diversity of writing styles in Polish theatre. Plays by I.S. Witkiewicz, W. Gombrowicz, S. Mrożek and T. Różewicz will be studied in Polish or English. A voluntary on-campus session will give students the opportunity to meet their lecturer and fellow students, as well as practice speaking skills and pronunciation. All students will also have an opportunity to discuss course materials with the lecturer.
