Doing Business in/with China - MGSM824

This elective unit examines various issues critical to doing business in/with China, include China’s macro business environment, outsourcing and exporting to China, operating a business in China, working and competing with China in the global market, etc. It is designed not only for those interested in gaining a comprehensive understanding of modern China as a host country/market, but also for those needing to develop a capability of dealing with a wide range of challenges in doing business in/with China.

This unit is developed as part of the general management stream in MGSM’s comprehensive suite of management programs. No prerequisite is specified for this unit. However, prior to enrolling into this unit, participants are assumed to have acquired the necessary knowledge of the foundational management theories relating to managing customers, money and people.
