Assessing Specialist Competence - MEDI897
This unit is offered on a pass/fail basis.
This unit makes explicit the strategies and techniques by which assessment guides the development and maintenance of competence and expertise. The rationale for this unit of study is threefold - self assessment, is in turn assessed and it is expected that the student will develop an assessment role in their chosen area. Each of these dimensions of assessment play a part in specialist practice; as reflection, audit and as part of a strategy of lifelong learning.
