Role of Supervisor - AMED801
This unit is offered on a pass/fail basis.
This unit equips candidates for the role of supervision. Competencies will include adult learning, goal setting, motivation and feedback. Five types of assessment will be used:
- direct observation of the candidate's patient-related activities by a clinical assessor
- focused oral assessment of the candidate by a clinical assessor
- review of written material produced
- review of workplace clinical records kept
- multi-source feedback on the candidate's workplace activities by a range of members of the care team.
