Patient Assessment and Communication - AHMC802
This unit is offered on a pass/fail basis.
This unit will enhance knowledge and skills in the standardised clinical assessment of the hospitalised patient and the formulation of prioritised management plans. Students will develop competence and leadership in key skills including concise record keeping, medical handover, referrals, communication with colleagues and discharge planning. Learning and assessment has been designed to reflect clinical practice priorities and authentic clinical experiences.
