International Relations Practice - POIR980

This unit draws on theoretical and discipline knowledge from across the international relations program, requiring candidates to apply their earlier learning to a real or imagined scenario drawn from historical or contemporary controversy in international relations. An emphasis on practical problem solving calls for a reflexive approach as candidates shift from role to role, and skills in analysis and communication are important in formulating the constructive solutions, compromises or re-formulation of issues that are encouraged in the unit.
