Agile Programming - ITEC823
The main outcome for an agile programming unit is to gain experience in conducting a non-trivial project in an extreme way. The primary characteristic is release early and often, so that response to changing client requirements can be incorporated as soon as possible; these aspects will be demonstrated during a real development exercise. Students will gain experience working closely with others, such as during pair programming and while conducting detailed code reviews, both of which are key parts of extreme programming. Another important outcome will be experience with a test-first approach.
