Research Preparation - Earth and Planetary Sciences - GEOS952
This unit prepares students for entry into the MPhil or PhD research programs. This unit will allow the student to develop an understanding of the problem(s) or hypothesis(es) to be addressed in their proposed MPhil or PhD project and become familiar with the relevant literature. The student must develop a research plan and demonstrate their ability to prepare and undertake scientific research. A supervisor must be engaged with the student from commencement of their program of study and should advise and guide the candidate.
