Advanced Visual Perception - PSYC763

The area of visual perception is a rapidly changing one that overlaps with other areas such as cognitive science and cognitive processes. The purpose of this unit is to deal with recent and interesting developments in the area of visual perception by meeting weekly as a seminar group to critically consider recent papers on issues of interest to the group. The particular content will vary from year to year, depending upon the state of the discipline at the time. All students must present at least once and submit a summary for assessment. In addition, staff and postgraduate students will present their own current research to students.
