Research-Based Enquiry in the Human Sciences - FOHS730
Upon successful completion of this unit, students will have the skills that will enable them to analyse a piece of research, in a rigorous and informed manner, in their field. The unit aims to provide students with the critical skills to understand the research in their discipline area. The unit does not emphasise statistical procedures but does emphasise discipline based scientific and analytical thinking. Students will be given an understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
