Assessment Issues - EDUC704
This unit extends students' undergraduate study of assessment issues and focuses on current trends in educational assessment at an international, national and local level. The key themes of the unit include: the nature and purpose of educational assessment; the current trends in educational assessment; the principles of effective assessment and the practical application of assessment principles both within and beyond the classroom context. The tasks in this unit focus on developing an understanding of advanced concepts in assessment and the implications of this knowledge for professional practice.
