Advanced Topics in Autism and Developmental Disorders - COGS720
This unit takes a cognitive approach to autism and related developmental disorders such as Williams syndrome and Fragile X. Topics include atypical social cognition, language, perception, and executive functions. The unit will also cover the history of autism research, diagnostic issues, applications to clinical practice, and links between cognition and the neural and genetic basis of autism.
