International Crime - PICT914
Globalisation has led to a rise in international crime. The unit explores the interrelationships between globalisation of the legal and illegal economies. It gives particular attention to specific areas of international crime: transnational criminal organisations, illegal drugs, migration, links between crime and terrorism, cybercrime, money laundering and capital flight, counterfeit goods. China is a major case study in the unit and the interlinkages between globalisation and international crime are explored.
