Supply Chain Management - MGSM893

This unit addresses the fundamentals of managing the supply chain (SC), including the impact of e-commerce on order placement, processing and delivery. Supply chains across functional and organisational boundaries and the contribution of logistics strategy implementation will be examined. This includes such issues as demand-driven supply chains, supply chain alignment; postponement strategy; distribution, procurement and outsourcing strategies; SC collaboration and integration; and sustainable SCs as applied to various industry sectors.
