The Digital Newsroom - MECO802
This unit combines critical analysis of digital news production with practical experience in producing news in a digital newsroom. It provides an opportunity for students to engage in the production of a professional online news resource, contextualised in a developing analysis of news theory. Students will produce an online news resource (in collaboration with an industry partner), bringing theoretical knowledge and critical analysis to the design and production of that online production.
