This unit provides an introduction to some of the issues that are faced by those who are responsible for organising or managing language teaching operations or related areas of practice. It examines the effects of organisational structure on organisational culture; leadership styles; human resource management; professional development and staff appraisal; project management; financial management; marketing; organisational communication; and managing for innovation.
