Special Topics in Early Christianity or Judaism - ECJS851

This unit allows for in-depth study of topics and areas of focus that are the specialties of current research by staff in the Department and of visiting academics. It allows for students to benefit from both the high in-depth focus that such academics can bring to their subject specialty, and the opportunity to study a specialised topic in early Christian or Judaism studies that is not provided in the normal unit offerings of the MA ECJS programme. It is also designed to prepare students for research in an area in which there is current research in the Ancient History Department.
