Emergency Care - AHMC806
This unit is offered on a pass/fail basis.
This unit supports the hospital-based doctor in developing knowledge and skills in the clinical assessment and management of patients presenting to a hospital Emergency Department. The unit includes learning on the assessment and management of common presentations, team leadership and safe practice as applied in the emergency setting. Assessments have been constructed to collect evidence of competence in simulated and actual clinical practice.
