Reading in French - FRN250
This 200 level reading unit is available to students who have completed FRN226. A number of short 20th and 21st century texts belonging to a variety of genres (press articles, stories, poems, sketches, etc) will be studied, taking into account their historical and cultural contexts. The unit is strongly recommended for students who are working towards a major in French Studies, as it will help them develop their reading skills while, at the same time, building up their vocabulary and introducing them to important aspects of French culture and society. Assessment will be by coursework.
