A Comparative Curriculum Study: Malaysian and Australian Classrooms - EDUC393

This unit and EDUC394 Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Malaysian Classrooms are designed as a sequence where pedagogical principles and practices are introduced first across a number of curriculum areas and then applied to EFL teaching. In this unit students attend lectures and workshops together with local teacher education students. but then have a specific tutorial strand where they compare and contrast the understandings of the New South Wales context with their experiences in Malaysian schools. There are school visits associated with this unit.
