Ecology and Evolution - BIOL368
Learn about how ecological interactions drive evolution, how species can be understood as products of ongoing evolution, and explore some big questions about the processes that shape natural and human-manipulated communities. You will also learn some essential skills for a science career, such as designing and carrying out simple experiments, communicating results to others, critiquing ideas and methods, and applying existing ideas and methods to novel problems. There is a two hour lecture and a three hour practical most weeks, as well as a one day field trip. Each student also designs and carries out a simple experiment with guidance from us.
