Neuroethology - BBE306
This unit is a higher level unit in which students engage directly with research and primary scientific papers to explore the latest findings about the biological basis of behaviour. Topics covered include: how genes and genomes control behaviour; the neural basis of behaviour; the mechanisms of learning and memory; the evolution and biological basis of instinct; and the extent to which our behaviour is determined by our biology.
