Translation Practice 2 - TRAN820
The unit provides students with practical opportunities to develop their translation competencies further. This unit involves the translation of various types of texts. Students discuss problems encountered in the course of translation such as text analysis and stylistics, register, language usage as well as equivalence at different levels. It is aimed at introducing strategies to solve more challenging problems and leading students to establish their own strategies.
