Statistical Theory - STAT810
This unit introduces fundamental principles justifying classical and modern statistical methodology. The unit includes an introduction to powerful asymptotic methods of statistics and to optimality principles. Use is made of Scientific Notebook, a revolutionary piece of software for mathematical computation and reporting, which makes solving statistical problems and presenting results easy and exciting.
