Advanced Counselling - PSYS831
This unit provides theory and skills training in various different approaches for working with adults, children and families placing particular emphasis on third wave approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness based Cognitive behavioural therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. There is also focus on solution focused and other brief therapy approaches
