Supervised Internship IV - PSYN818
This unit builds on Supervised Practical Placement I, II and III and comprises 250 hours of appropriate work under the supervision of a qualified field supervisor. By the end of the fourth placement, the student should be relatively independent and capable of handling routine cases with minimal assistance from the supervisor. In cases which are unusual, or conditions which they have not encountered before, they should demonstrate the ability to collect the appropriate data, i.e., history from whatever sources are available, seeking information about the condition from the literature, and be able to formulate suitable differential diagnoses.
