Marketing Principles - MKTG813

This unit introduces students to principles and marketing practices in the contemporary environment. The objective is to develop an understanding and awareness of the importance of customers, the development of marketing strategies and the use of marketing's tools and techniques from a managerial perspective. Throughout the course, the emphasis is on the development of strategies utilising the analysis process: identifying information needs, acquiring the necessary information, and interpreting and using it as the basis of your recommendations. An additional objective is also to gain an insight into the appropriate means of applying process based concepts and operational tools and techniques within an organisation.
