The International System - IRPG840

This unit provides an introductory overview of global politics focusing on the changing role of sovereign states and the international state system from a world historical perspective and in the context of globalisation. The unit examines different forms of international systems, including empires; issues such as war, peace and diplomacy; ideas about culture, world order and international society, and current developments in globalization and regionalization.
