Workplace Practices and Skills Development - GSE821

Students are required to undertake a project associated with a workplace relevant to their specialist Masters area. The unit is designed to develop knowledge and skills relevant to developing or establishing a career path. Activities at a current workplace may be used only if they are providing for the development of new expertise or new activities within the organisation. The student must negotiate project management and learning outcomes with the work place supervisor and the unit convenor. A final project report is presented on the work activities undertaken including professional reflections on the process of development and project management.
