Magmatic and Ore Deposit Environments - GEOS884

The geological processes contributing to magma and ore formation are considered. The major magma and ore deposit types are studied in terms of their tectonic, stratigraphic, palaeogeographic and structural settings. Tools for the interpretation of magma and ore deposits are considered in assignments and seminars. A major ore deposit will be examined in the field during a weekend field trip.
