Language, Writing and Editing - EDIT981
language and linguistic approaches to writing style, including variation in grammar, usage and punctuation, discourse development and readability. It examines the features of different text types, spoken and written, and discusses communicative approaches to writing, including plain English for mediating complex content, and promotional writing for advertising purposes. It includes a segment on academic writing and editing, especially theses and journal articles.
