Sociology and Education - EDCN817

This unit has been designed for students interested in the link between society and education. It begins with an introduction to the style of teaching and learning that will be followed in the unit and a brief outline of the parameters of the field. Students will engage with some of the central concerns such as globalisation, markets in education and vocationalism.
