Clinical Chiropractic 2 - CHIR892
This unit continues from Principles and Practice 1 with training in the chiropractic techniques introduced in Semester 1. It includes diagnostic assessment procedures. The unit concentrates on Diversified and Gonstead approaches in the correction of mechanical and neurological problems in the spine. In addition, the techniques applicable to drop piece tyables, such as flexion-distraction technique are also covered. The unit further develops the chiropractic psychomotor skills taught by this institution. This unit also incorporates an introduction to various tasks associated with the administration of chiropractic research, in preparation for the conduct of a small research project in the following year.
