Molecular and Medical Biotechnology - CBMS880
The unit is composed of lectures, a significant hands-on laboratory component, student debate, tutorials, assignments and reports. A visit to local industry will be arranged. We will discuss examples of cutting-edge research and biotechnology-related recent developments and how these relate to our personal lives, society and industry. Visiting lecturers from industry and various academic disciplines will lead discussion on their area of expertise.
