Strategies of Aural Rehabilitation - CAUD814

This unit aims to develop skills in aural rehabilitation and the management of adult clients with hearing loss. The importance of establishing goals for the rehabilitative process and the importance of measuring outcomes is stressed throughout the unit. This unit builds on CAUD801 Foundations of Audiological Practice and CAUD805 Hearing Aids. Some of the concepts discussed are related to those considered in CAUD809 Principles of Management of Childhood Deafness and explored in the four Clinical units.
