Voices from Coptic Egypt - AHPG849
This unit provides advanced study in English translation of selected literature and documents from first millennium CE Egypt. These will range over authors writing in various genres in Greek, Coptic, and Arabic, as well as close studies of documentary genres, especially papyrus letters and funerary inscriptions.
