Studies in Greek Religion - AHPG827

A study in the methods and approaches to the study of ancient Greek religion through the examination of selected topics, from the archaic and classical periods, with a focus on Athenian religion, including public and private cults, cults introduced by foreigners, and the Eleusinian Mysteries. The approach will be principally text based, with reference where appropriate to archaeological evidence.
