Intermediate Macroeconomics - ECON633
This is an intensive, accelerated, unit to an intermediate level of macroeconomics. Topics include: economic growth and business cycle, income and expenditure analysis, national accounts, saving and investment, aggregate supply and demand, the monetary sector and credit creation, fiscal and monetary policy, IS-LM model and effectiveness of government policy, taxation and incentives, public debt issues, inflation and unemployment, international monetary systems, the Mundell-Fleming model, exchange rate regimes and currency crises, balance of payments, current account deficits and foreign debt issues, and schools of thought.
