STAT371: Statistical Theory

This unit introduces fundamental principles justifying statistical methodology. The principles broaden horizons and open a road to novel statistical applications. The unit includes an introduction to powerful asymptotic methods of statistics and to optimality principles. Use of Scientific Notebook, a revolutionary software package for mathematical computation and reporting, makes solving statistical problems and presenting results easy and exciting. An online homepage is available and updated weekly.
