PSY349: Design and Statistics III
This unit builds on and unifies statistical and design topics introduced in previous units, particularly PSY248 Design and Statistics II. Topics covered include: multiple regression (linear and curvilinear); analysis of variance and covariance; and model reduction procedures. These are all applied to non-orthogonal experimental designs. The unit also seeks to illustrate the links between these different methods through placing them in the context of the generalised linear model and in do so enhance students' understanding of statistical methods. Practical classes utilise the SPSS statistical package.
