PHYS388: Advanced Physics III

This is a full-year 3 cp unit, offering accelerated learning via short courses in specialist topics, tutorials, seminars, and discussions in a variety of areas of modern physics including quantum information theory, astronomy and astrophysics, lasers and photonics, and biophysics. Students are expected to engage in a research related activity in one of the research areas of the department and produce a report (in scientific format) on their findings.
