MUS306: Musical Creativity and Performance

This unit enables students to pursue individual artistry and advanced performance skills through emphasising interpretive, creative and performance aspects of contemporary singing. Collaborative a cappella and individual performance projects are supplemented with stagecraft, musical interpretations, expressivity, song-writing and copyright workshops. The unit will culminate in a performance showcase of student works. Major supervised projects run throughout the semester, including those with a compositional focus.
