LAW488: Access to Justice Placement Program

Entry to this unit is competitive. One group of selected students undertake Practising in the Public Interest, which involves one week of classes conducted by the Public Interest Advocacy Centre and a public interest placement with a law firm or organisation. The unit is run in the summer break shortly before first semester, and in the mid-year break. Another group of selected students undertakes a one day a week placement for ten weeks at Macquarie Legal Centre.
