ENVE303: Advanced Atmospheric and Oceanographic Science

The objectives of this unit are to equip students with research skills and critical thinking, through exposure to research problems and realistic environments, and to foster student engagement with research. This unit typically includes small group tutorial teaching or individual supervision with climate science academic staff on areas of relevance to recent research advances in the field. Small research problems suited to student ability are used. Assessment typically includes assignments, such as review of recent literature, data analysis, and other major tasks determined in consultation with the unit convenor.
